Magic Lady Jania Taylor Reading Books Educational Enrichment Show

Reading Enrichment School Assembly

There’s Magic In Books educates, entertains, and motivates students to become better readers. It will spark the imagination of students to explore books and reading on their own. The message is delivered with storytelling, magic, and audience participation.

In the show Jania shares with the students how she tested two points below “needs help with reading” on a standardized reading test, but she did not let the test define her, and became an avid reader despite the test results.

This show reinforces the importance of practicing good reading habits. It is great for Right to Read Month, National Library Week, Children’s Book Week, Summer Reading Programs, book festivals, and book fairs.

Length of Show: 45 minutes

Grade Level: K-6, and Family Audiences

Magical Testimonials

The school staff was very impressed with Ms. Taylor. We couldn’t have asked for a better assembly for our students. It was truly a great 45 minutes. Ms. Taylor involved the students, worked her audience, and obviously had a real feel for what students like, while sticking to a theme to help them learn!

Dick Knapp, Principal, Walbridge Elementary, Walbridge, OH

Once again a stellar performance! The children of Sault Ste. Marie always look forward to ‘magic lady’ visits. I know how hard it can be to keep control of a large crowd of children, and I am impressed by your ability to do so.

Debbie Lehman, Children’s Librarian, Bayliss Public Library, Sault Ste Marie, MI

Our students recognized the very important theme in the assembly show, that they too could perform such magical effects if they can read a magic book. This simple message empowers student and creates a new focus on the importance and value of reading.
